Understand NYC Regulatory Management for Local Laws
Following guidelines outlined in NFPA 25 and NFPA 14, the licensed technician will perform a visual inspection of the standpipe system to confirm that the fire hose valves and piping pressure regulators have not been damaged or exposed to conditions that would cause a detriment to or failure during use.
Standpipe inspection must be scheduled, and performed annually by your licensed sprinkler company.
Special attention should be paid to any evidence of tampering with the standpipe system. Any part of the system that is damaged or missing should be repaired or replaced immediately.
